Research Advisor/Mentor – Dr. Julie Exline
Research Interests – Broadly, I am interested in how religion and spirituality play a role in personality and the way people experience life. Currently, I am exploring people’s perceptions of having heard from God, seeking to understand what it means for people and the factors that seem to foster this perception.
Recent Presentations – Harriott, V.A., Exline, J.J., Hall, T.W., & Pargament, K.I. (2014). Awareness of God’s Presence, Well-Being, and Responses to Spiritual Struggle. Presented at the 122nd annual convention of the American Psychological Association, Washington, D.C.
