Area of Specialization: Emerging Adulthood and Behavior Genetics
Research Advisor/Mentor: Dr. Lee Thompson
Research Interests: Overall, my research interests encompass the development of individuals up to and through emerging adulthood through the lens of behavior genetics along with other approaches. I am interested in the mechanisms that influence decisions made during emerging adulthood and how these decisions may influence whole life outcomes. Most recently, I have delved into measuring social emotional learning competencies in emerging adults. I also have interests in observing the role that expected utility of math, reading, and science have on academic and life outcomes in emerging adults. Additionally, I investigate influences on emerging adulthood through the use of twin study data sets.
