Area of Specialization– Child/Family Psychology
Research Interests- I study the role and impact of obsessive-compulsive and anxiety related disorders within the family and across the lifespan. In particular, my current focus is on OCD and its impact on individual, interpersonal, and familial functioning with consideration of developmental, identity, trauma/stress, and health-related contexts.
About me– I am originally from Illinois. I completed my undergraduate degree receiving a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Davidson College in North Carolina. Following graduation, I worked in Houston, Texas at Baylor College of Medicine’s OCD and Anxiety Program doing research on obsessive-compulsive and anxiety-related disorders and the psychosocial impacts of a rare genetic condition.
