Advisor – Dr. James Overholser

Research Interests – I am interested in researching depression and suicide risk factors in adult populations and how we can use those risk or pretective factors to provide more personalized and effective treatments to those experieincing depression or suicidality. Major Depressive Disorder has a high recurrence rate and my goal is to better understand and treat the cognitions and behaviors that occur prior to and during a major depressive episode to improve intervention strategies.
