Research Areas: Clinical Psychology PhD

Research interests- broadly center around understanding the nature and development of OCD and anxiety disorders in youth and adolescents. More specifically, I am interested in understanding the role that contextual factors including identity-based stress and familial accommodation play in development and presentation of these disorders. Ultimately, I aim to incorporate this knowledge to inform development of intervention models that better serve youth from marginalized communities.

About me- I am originally from Louisville, Kentucky. I attended Oberlin College where I received my Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in computer science. Following Oberlin, I worked at Emory’s Child and Adolescent Mood Program in Atlanta as a clinical research assistant for two years.
