Kristina Bowdrie, Au.D., Ph.D., CCC-A is an Assistant Professor in the Communication Sciences Program within the Department of Psychological Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. She is a licensed audiologist and holds certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Dr. Bowdrie earned her Ph.D. in Speech and Hearing Science and Au.D. at The Ohio State University. She was a VA Quality Scholars (VAQS) Advanced Postdoctoral Fellow in Quality Improvement and Implementation Science at the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System. She holds a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Psychology from CWRU.

Dr. Bowdrie leads theĀ Human Ecology and Auditory Research (HEAR) Laboratory, where her work explores the complex interactions between individuals with hearing loss and their environments. Her research aims to understand how these dynamic relationships impact clinical outcomes and to advance interventions and aural (re)habilitation practices for both children and adults who are deaf or hard of hearing.
