Pediatric Dysphagia is a new 3-credit course as part of the MA SLP program, offered for the first time this fall. It provides a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology of oral feeding development, clinical and instrumental evaluation of swallowing, treatment methods, and pediatric clinical populations. Guest speakers from Cleveland Clinic, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and the Cuyahoga Board of Developmental Disabilities shared their expertise and clinical experience with students.
