In September, Melissa received Honorable Mention (2nd place) for the Psychology Section Poster Prize at the Society of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Annual Meeting. Her advisor, Becky Hazen, was also on the poster. The title of the poster was “Hope and Executive Functioning as Correlates of Health Outcomes in Adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes,” which was a branch of her Masters project.
