About
Dr. Greene earned his Ph.D. at Yale University in 1984, and a B.A., summa cum laude from University of Pennsylvania in 1979.
Dr. Greene’s research specialty is human learning and memory. In practice, this means that he carries out experiments in which subjects see a list of words and then receive a test on their memory for the words. Research such as this is done to determine what makes some events more memorable than others. Specific topics that he has studied here include the effects of repetition on memory and the relationship between short-term and long-term measures of memory.
