Research Interests: Broadly, I am interested in studying the etiology, maintenance, and treatment of anxiety and related disorders in children and parents. My particular interest is how family functioning, including parenting practices and familial traits, contribute to these disorders in both populations. I wish to develop and deliver effective treatment options to alleviate these disorders in the future.
Selected Publications and Presentations: Smith, A., Peterson, P., Francazio, S., & Flessner, C. (April, 2016). Favorite Part of the Program/Comments on the Faculty: I love how close and supportive both the students and faculty are in this program. I am excited to grow both as a researcher and clinician, and utilize some of the outstanding clinical opportunities that are available in this area.
